Golcar Lily Wine List

At the Golcar Lily, we have selected a range of wines to offer both quality and value. We have represented all the major wine producing nations, both old and new, and have aimed to compliment our menus. We have also included the international wine code to aid your selection, which is illustrated in the taste guide at the bottom of the page. Prices are per 75cl bottle.

 

Red Wines

Mid-bodied with light tannins and hints of red fruit and spice.

Soft and easy drinking with red cherry fruit and low acidity.

A traditional Rioja with soft redcurrent and vanilla oak on the nose.

A chunky aroma of damsons. Full bodies and succulent in the mouth.

A ripe juicy and lush red wine, packed with spicy blackberry fruit.

 

Rose Wine

Pale pink off dry with soft red fruit characters

Clean, medium sweet with delicate pear and strawberry notes.

 

White Wines

A dry white wine with crisp acidity and flavours of almond.

A broad and soft Chardonnay that is off dry on the palate.

Scented on the nose. A crisp acidity acts as a foil to the sweetness.

Fresh and light, with an attractive quince and pear character.

A crisp, fruity white wine with a delightful full and ripe aroma.

This dry white has classic gooseberry aromas and good balancing acidity.

 

Sparkling Wine

Clean dry and crisp with a creamy finish.

 

Champagnes

A full, pure, fresh Champagne with lemon and butter nuances.

White wines rated from (1) to (9). Number 1 being the driest and 9 being the sweetest.

Red wines rated from (A) to (E). A being the lightest and E being the most full bodied.
