Golcar Lily Wine List

At the Golcar Lily, we have selected a range of wines to offer both quality and value. We have represented all the major wine producing nations, both old and new, and have aimed to compliment our menus. We have also included the international wine code to aid your selection, which is illustrated in the taste guide at the bottom of the page. Prices are per 75cl bottle.

 

Red Wines

Mid-bodied with light tannins and hints of red fruit and spice.

Also available to enjoy by the glass.

This relatively light bodied wine has red cherry aromas.

Also available to enjoy by the glass.

Dry and soft, with spicy black fruit and vanilla character.

A chunky aroma of damsons and oak. Full bodies and succulent in the mouth, long and complex on the finish.

Rich aromas of vanilla oak and red summer berries, soft on the palate with well integrated oak and tannins.

 

Rose Wine

Light fruity rosé bursting with strawberry fruits. Medium sweet but well balanced.

Also available to enjoy by the glass.

A light and delicate Pink Pinot Grigio that is off dry on the palate.

 

White Wines

A dry white wine with crisp acidity and flavours of almond.

Also available to enjoy by the glass.

A broad and soft Chardonnay that is off dry on the palate.

A medium dry, fruity white wine from the middle part of the Mosel valley.

Also available to enjoy by the glass.

A crisp, fruity white wine with a delightful full and ripe aroma.

Fresh and juicy with ripe tropical fruit flavours.

 

Sparkling Wine and Champagne

This powerfully sparkling rose has quite a complex aroma and an appealing dryish taste.

Golden in colour with fine bubbles, this elegant Champagne is fresh on the nose with a rounded toasty palate.

White wines rated from (1) to (9). Number 1 being the driest and 9 being the sweetest.

Red wines rated from (A) to (E). A being the lightest and E being the most full bodied.
